Kiboko City Classic Mini, 12L+

I received my Kiboko City Classic Mini, 12L+ this morning. Color me delighted. I have a Kiboko 16L that I happily use for wildlife and landscape photography, as it holds easily my 2 camera bodies, an assortment of lenses, filters, batteries, etc. My new 12L is for city photography, when I prefer to carry a fixed prime lens camera like a Leica Q series or Fujifilm X100 series and possibly also a fixed zoom lens camera like a Panasonic LX100 series, plus filters, batteries, but also a notebook, pens/pencils, and other sundries for the day long walkabout. The top compartment is the perfect place to stash a rain jacket, as well my wallet and sunglasses. The zippers and pulls are sturdy, the shoulder straps comfortable, and while some might find the side pockets too small, my water flask fits perfectly. I like very much that should I choose to carry a laptop, it balances against my back. To be honest, I also like that the front of the bag outer pockets are scaled down versions of my 16L, making it easy to replicate how I use them. While not as discreet as, say, the Oberwerth Q backpack, the 12L in black is reasonably unobtrusive, lighter, and packs more. It comes with a plethora of dividers. Highly recommended for street and city scape photographers.

An absolutely killer bag that'll carry everything you need for a lightweight or simple kit.

With enough space to fit multiple cameras, lenses and anything you need for a quick editing stop at the coffee shop on your way to shoot. This thing was the perfect fit for second shooting an 8 hour wedding day, fitting 3 cameras with interchangeable lenses for each it fit just what I needed and was so much more nimble for getting around multiple spaces throughout the day. Not to mention a pocket on either side for a tripod and water bottle at the same time. The top pocket serves as a great spot to quickly access batteries, SD cards or your sunnies.

This is the first backpack in my arsenal of bags that seems like a non-obstructive size to actually wear while shooting.

Packing a bulky Canon mirrorless cinema body and three lenses into a 12L setup shouldn’t be possible, but here it is. The smart organization keeps room for the essentials, and the X-Pac material feels ready for dirt, snow, and whatever else I throw at it. These bags are built different.
